Troubleshooting
Using the AI support chat
A chat assistant is available on Docora pages via the message control in the bottom-right corner. It answers from Docora’s public documentation (the same content as /docs).
Where it appears
Global on Docora pages (root layout). On dashboard mobile it sits above the bottom tab bar. Hidden during PDF mode (?pdf=1).
What it’s good for
- How features work (proposals, invoices, Stripe setup, plans, Reports, rich text, default terms, and so on)
- Where to find settings and workflows in the product
- Clarifying docs-backed product questions
How answers work
- Retrieves relevant docs chunks (RAG) and answers only from that context.
- May show Related docs links under a reply.
- Does not use your account data.
What it can’t do
- Look up your account, invoices, payments, or personal data
- Compare Docora to competitors, negotiate pricing, or answer unrelated topics (weather, other products, etc.)
- Replace human support for billing disputes, bugs in your workspace, or account-specific failures
For those, email support@docora.io (also available from the Help menu as Contact support).
Limits
- About 20 messages per hour per signed-in user (or per IP if signed out).
- Message max about 2000 characters.
Tips
- Prefer specific product questions (“How do I set up Stripe?”) over account questions (“Why wasn’t my invoice marked paid?”).
- You can also browse or search Documentation directly.
- The chat is rate-limited; if it’s busy, try again shortly or email support.
This documentation is a living guide and may not cover every edge case yet. Features and labels can change as Docora evolves.
