Billing & Plans
Trial period details
Paid plans are offered with a 7-day free trial on the pricing page (Free plan does not require a card).
What you get
During trial your subscription status is trialing, with a trial end timestamp. The sidebar shows how many days remain and may prompt Pay now.
Exact trial dates come from Paddle when available; otherwise Docora approximates about seven days from start.
Cancelling during trial
Turn Auto-renew off in Settings → Subscription to cancel at the end of the trial without converting to a paid charge. The UI shows Cancelling / access until the trial end date, and the sidebar offers Resubscribe if you change your mind. See Upgrading, downgrading, cancelling.
When the trial ends
- If you convert to a paid subscription, you keep the plan’s features.
- If you do not (or you cancelled at period end), access is treated like Free once the trial is past — proposal limits and locked features (contracts, CRM, branding, Reports) apply accordingly.
Tips
- Use the trial to send a real proposal and test invoice payment setup.
- Branding customization needs Pro+ even during trials of lower plans — check which plan you started.
- Advanced-only Reports stay locked unless you are on Advanced.
This documentation is a living guide and may not cover every edge case yet. Features and labels can change as Docora evolves.
