Default terms template

Save your standard proposal Terms once, then reuse them on every new proposal.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings → Profile (/dashboard/settings?section=profile).
  2. Scroll to Default proposal terms.
  3. Write or paste your terms (rich text: bold, italic, lists, H3/H4). The field starts empty — example text in the placeholder is not saved unless you type your own.
  4. Click Save terms template.

To stop using a template, clear the field and save again. New proposals will then get AI-generated Terms again.

How generation uses it

  • With a saved template: AI drafts title, introduction, scope, timeline, and pricing. Terms are filled from your template. On New Proposal, you will see Using your saved terms template with a link back to Settings.
  • Without a template: AI drafts Terms with the rest of the proposal (previous behavior).

Per-proposal overrides

After generation, open the proposal and edit Terms like any other field (including rich text). Changes apply only to that proposal; your Settings template is unchanged until you edit it there.

Approved proposals lock Terms with the rest of the document. See What happens when a proposal is approved.
