Proposals
Rich text editing
Introduction, Timeline, and Terms on proposals use a rich text editor (Tiptap). The same editor appears for your default terms template in Settings.
Toolbar
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bold | Strong emphasis |
| Italic | Emphasis |
| H3 / H4 | Subheadings inside the section (page section titles stay separate) |
| Bullet list | Unordered list |
| Numbered list | Ordered list |
There are no font size, color, table, or embed controls — formatting stays simple and consistent on the public proposal page and in PDFs.
Where it applies
- Proposal editor: Introduction, Timeline, Terms
- Settings → Profile: Default proposal terms
Scope line items and pricing amounts stay plain text.
Public view and PDF
Formatted content (bold, lists, headings) appears on the client-facing proposal link and in the downloaded PDF. Older proposals that were saved as plain text still display normally.
Editing rules
Rich text fields follow the same lock rules as the rest of the proposal: editable while Draft, Sent, Changes requested, or Rejected; locked when Approved. See Editing and customizing content.
