Docora product features

This page is the canonical overview of what Docora is and what it can do. Use it when someone asks “what is Docora?”, “what features do you have?”, or how the product fits together.

What Docora is

Docora is software for freelancers and small agencies to run the commercial lifecycle in one place:

  1. AI proposal — draft from a project brief
  2. Client approval — public link (no client login)
  3. Contract + e-signature (Starter+)
  4. Invoice — full, remaining, or deposit amounts
  5. Collect payment — your Stripe, bank transfer, or your own payment link

Docora is not a payment processor for your clients’ money. Funds go to your Stripe account, bank, or third-party link. Docora records status and helps you follow up.

Subscription billing for Docora itself is through Paddle (separate from client invoice payments).

Core features

Proposals

  • Create from New Proposal (desktop sidebar or mobile floating +).
  • AI drafts title, introduction, scope, timeline, pricing, and terms.
  • If you saved a default terms template in Settings → Profile, that text is used for Terms instead of AI Terms.
  • Edit with rich text on Introduction, Timeline, and Terms (bold, italic, H3/H4, bullet and numbered lists).
  • Send for approval or copy the public link; clients can approve, request changes, or reject.
  • Approved proposals lock for editing (duplicate to revise).

Invoices

  • Create from an approved proposal (full, remaining, or custom amount).
  • Payment methods: Stripe (your restricted key), bank transfer (encrypted details), other payment link.
  • Statuses include draft, sent, paid, overdue (auto after ~14 days unpaid), cancelled, refunded.
  • Process full or partial refunds for Stripe or recorded manual payments.

Contracts (Starter+)

  • Generate from an approved proposal.
  • Collect a typed-name e-signature with timestamp and IP (lightweight, not certified e-sign).

Clients (CRM on Starter+)

  • Client records auto-create from proposal details on every plan (even Free).
  • CRM pages (list/detail history) unlock on Starter+.

Branding (Pro+)

  • Logo, company name, and brand color on client-facing documents.

Reports (Advanced only)

The home dashboard overview (pipeline, status cards, recent activity) remains on every plan. Advanced also unlocks home revenue/approval charts.
