Getting Started

Understanding the dashboard

The home dashboard (/dashboard) is your overview of pipeline, attention items, and recent activity.

Desktop (md and up)

  • Sidebar: New Proposal (top CTA), then Home, Proposals, Clients, Invoices, Contracts, Reports (Advanced). Footer: Invite users (Soon), Settings, Documentation (/docs), Sign out. Clients, Contracts, and Reports may show a lock until your plan unlocks them.
  • Top bar: Search (includes Help & Docs), theme toggle, Get started checklist, and Help (Documentation + Contact support).

Mobile

  • Bottom tab bar: Home, Proposals, Invoices, Clients, More (not a hamburger menu).
  • More opens a sheet with Contracts, Reports, Settings, Documentation, Sign out (and Usage analytics for admins).
  • Floating + creates a new proposal (/dashboard/new).

See Mobile navigation for details.

Everywhere

  • Get started panel: Checklist for signup, first proposal, branding, payments, and first invoice — open from the checklist icon.
  • AI support chat: Message control (bottom-right; sits above the mobile tab bar on dashboard pages) — answers from the docs. See Using the AI support chat.

Main widgets

  • Pipeline value — Pending / Approved / Unpaid style chips, plus shortcuts like New Proposal and Send Invoice.
  • Needs attention — Proposals with changes requested, stale sent proposals (about 3+ days), and stale sent invoices (about 7+ days). Overdue invoices are tracked separately (see invoice auto-overdue).
  • Proposal status cards — Counts for Draft, Sent, and Approved.
  • Setup tips — Gentle prompts if branding, payments, or a first invoice are still missing.
  • Charts (Advanced) — Paid invoice revenue over time and approval rate on the home dashboard. Deeper analytics live under Reports on Advanced.
  • Recent activity — Latest movements across your workspace.

Plans and trial

If you are on a trial or Free plan, the sidebar (or mobile More sheet) may show remaining trial days and an Upgrade / Pay now link to Subscription settings. If you turned off auto-renew (cancelling at period end), the card explains that access won’t renew and offers Resubscribe instead of implying an upcoming charge — see Upgrading, downgrading, cancelling.
